Tips for choosing and building your gift registry
Do register as soon as possible (don’t make your guests ask and give them plenty of time to respond), check with your partner on items they already have or would like to receive, register with more than one site, register for all the basic items you will need (be practical), think outside the box (we offer some suggestions below), and choose registry items with a mix of lower and higher priced items–plus offer group gifting on larger ticket items.

For gifts received before the wedding, thank you notes should be sent within two weeks of their arrival.
For gifts received on or after the wedding day, thank you cards should be sent within three months of your return from your honeymoon (assuming you go on a honeymoon directly after the wedding).
