Buffalo Exchange, (Bellingham, Seattle). Why shop there: Clothing, designer jeans, and shoes. Some brand name clothes have close-to-retail prices, so watch out. You’ll also find brand new merchandise and accessories.
Cherry Consignment (West Seattle). Why shop there: hard-to-find clothes for women and men of very shape, size and lifestyle, including plus sizes and maternity. Offer a rotating selection of higher-end brands and casual to dressy styles.
Crossroads Trading (Seattle/Capitol Hill, University District). Why shop there: Trendy and fashionable, high-quality women’s and men’s brand name and designer clothing and accessories.
Diva Dollz (Seattle/Pioneer Square). Why shop there: Great place for specialty items such as vintage and corsets. Additionally, they have a large selection of jewelry.

Goodwill (multiple Puget Sound area retail stores). Why shop there: Many locations throughout the region. Good selection of books and clothing but watch for high prices on some name brand clothing.
Lifelong Thrift Store (Seattle/Capitol Hill). Why shop there: High-quality apparel and shoes, as well as household items. Plus, all purchases benefit Lifelong, providing services to people living with chronic illnesses, including HIV/AIDS.
Pretty Parlor (Seattle/Capitol Hill). Why shop there: Besides vintage and used clothing they also carry originals by local designers. Great place to come for a truly unique piece of clothing. They also specialize in bridal gowns; an appointment is necessary to view bridal gowns.
Red Light Vintage (Seattle/University District). Why shop there: Known for their wide selection of clothing from all decades. As the name suggests, they specialize in vintage and retro clothing, and costumes. So, it’s a great place to shop for a costume party or Halloween.
Salvation Army Thrift Stores (Tukwila). Why shop there: large selection but they don’t specialize in any type, which means you can sometimes find great vintage stuff at a lower cost than at specialty stores.
Sell Your Sole Consignment Boutique (Seattle/Magnolia). Why shop here: Known to be a very well curated store. Known for high fashion wear. The friendly owner also provides great service and assistance while shopping.
Show Pony (Seattle/Fremont). Why shop there: You can expect to find a mixture of local designers and brand names. Wide selection of stylish women’s wear and accessories.
Value Village (multiple Puget Sound area stores). Why shop there: Best for household goods (leather goods, books, games, kitchenware). Clothing can be iffy, so sort through it carefully, but it’s a great place to pull together a Halloween costume.
