The following list of community egg hunts throughout the Puget Sound region are open to the public. Most are free, a few have nominal fees. We focus on free secular community Easter egg hunts. Most are hosted by cities and businesses throughout the Puget Sound region.

Tips for enjoying Egg Hunts

Many egg hunts host events by age groups at different time. Follow the link to check ages and times.
Most egg hunts are held come rain or come shine. It’s Seattle after all, bunnies know they can get wet. But they don’t care. They want the eggs!
Unless specifically stated otherwise, it’s usually a good idea to bring a basket or bag to collect your goodies.

Gig Harbor. April 11, 2025. 7:30 pm start at Sehmel Homestead Park. Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt – PenMet Parks. The Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt is back for another year of egg-hunting madness! Grab your friends and hunt for eggs using only the glow of your flashlight. With lots of goodies to discover, it’s going to be a sweet way to kick-off spring. This event is for grades 6-12 and is paid by donation. Be sure to save your spot!

Fort Lewis. April 11, 2025. 6PM start at Hillside Youth Center. Teen Easter Egg Hunt :: Joint Base Lewis-McChord :: US Army MWR. All JBLM teens in grades 6 –12 are invited to the Teen Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt will organized by grade level and each group should be ready to go promptly at their respective time. Bring a basket to collect your eggs. Youth do not have to be enrolled with the Hillside Youth Center to participate. Prizes include candy and toys! Free, no registration required.

Kent. April 12, 2025. Noon start at Sunrise Elementary. Annual Easter Egg Eggstravaganza Tickets, Sat, Apr 12, 2025 at 12:00 PM | Eventbrite.

Shelton. April 12-13, 2025. 10am-3pm. Simpsonrailroad.org. Come take a train ride, Get Your Picture taken with the Easter bunny, Easter eggs – goody bag and more. Adults $15, Child $12.

Puyallup. April 13, 2025, from 11 AM – 3 PM. Hop into Wonderland at Sunrise Village | Facebook. Free, family-friendly Easter celebration.

Seattle (multiple locations). April 17 & 19, 2025. 2025 Spring Egg Hunts with Seattle Parks and Recreation! – Parkways. Seattle Parks & Rec FREE egg hunts at community centers and parks across the city. Times and age groups differ between sites. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag or basket.

Auburn. April 18-21, 2025. Hop through Auburn’s parks and trails in search of the elusive bunnies who will be hidden in various locations around Auburn. Find 10 bunnies, submit a scorecard, and get entered for a chance to win some awesome prizes! This family-friendly event is perfect for all ages, including seniors and those in the specialized recreation community. It’s a great way to get outside, stay active and enjoy the outdoors! Fort Lewis. April 19, 2025. 11:00 AM start at Lewis North Athletic Complex. Easter Egg-stravaganza :: Joint Base Lewis-McChord :: US Army MWR. The JBLM community is invited to a free egg hunt. No preregistration is required, just show up! The egg hunts will be divided into quadrants based on age. Bring your own baskets for each child. After eggs have been collected, children may exchange eggs for a “bag-sket” filled with candy and other goodies. Get pictures with the Easter Bunny!

Gig Harbor. April 19, 2025. 10:00 AM start at Sehmel Homestead Park . Spring Egg Hunt – PenMet Parks. Spring Egg Hunt returns for another fun-filled day of egg hunting and festive photos with the one and only Peter Cottontail. Four one-hour sessions from 10 AM – 2 PM, including an adaptive session at 1 PM.

Marysville. April 19, 2025. 10:00 AM start at Jennings Park. EGGstravaganza Egg Hunt | City of Marysville. Grab your Easter basket, put on your bunny ears and get ready for a hopping good time. Kids ages 8 and under will collect 8 candy filled eggs, take photos with the Easter Bunny, and participate in activities in the park. Free event. Leave pets at home. Registration is not required. City Calendar – City of Mill Creek Free event features a continuous egg hunt, where children ages one to eleven can search for more than 18,000 eggs that can be exchanged for candy at multiple locations throughout the event.
