The Tacoma Astronomical Society hosts free monthly public viewing sessions that include lectures, demonstrations, and workshops. After the presentation, if skies are clear, TAS volunteers provide telescopic observations of the Moon, planets, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, double stars, and more. Each season boasts something new and exciting. Free Tickets are available 1 month prior to each event and recommended. Donations are gladly accepted and used to further public education and outreach programs. More info: TAS Calendar
