The Ellensburg Rodeo (about 110 miles southeast of Seattle) is one of the “old rodeos” and has earned its place as one of America’s Top 10 professional rodeos. Started in 1923, the rodeo has grown from a local competition among ranch hands to the Professional event of today with over 600 contestants and prize money in excess of $400,000! In addition to the rodeo, there is a dance and bull riding completion (not included in the price of a rodeo ticket). Advance tickets are the lowest price. If not sold out, tickets at the gate are higher. Ellensburg Rodeo tickets include admission to the Kittitas County Fair. More info: The Ellensburg Rodeo – Every Labor Day
