International ShakeOut Da, every third Thursday of October, is when millions of people worldwide participate in earthquake drills at work, school, or home. Everyone, everywhere should know how to protect themselves during an earthquake! Use the ShakeOut as an opportunity to learn what to do before, during, and after an earthquake. You can register for a ShakeOut drill for any day of the year and drill at a time of your choice. You can include people in multiple locations through video conferencing. If you live or work in a coastal area, ShakeOut day is also a great time to practice your tsunami evacuation routes.
