Fix your tattered socks, sweaters, and knit textiles with a simple woven type of mending known as darning! In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn 3 different types of darning, and practice each technique on a provided sampler. Bring your knits needing darning, and leave with a plan and the skill to mend. Practice materials will be provided but feel free to also bring an item you want to practice repairing in case time allows. Author Erin Eggenburg is a maker, mender, author, and instructor residing in Portland, OR. More info: Introduction to Darning Workshop | Events | Sno-Isle Libraries (bibliocommons.com)
