Celebrate the holiday season at this joyful community gathering! Langston Hughes’ Gospel Song-Play returns to Intiman Theatre in an all-new, reimagined production. The Christmas story gets a soulful retelling with actors, dancers, soaring vocalists, and a rousing city-wide gospel choir. The poetry and vision of Langston Hughes combines with gospel renditions of your favorite carols, and you’ll have the chance to raise your voice and sing-along. Intiman Theatre offers discount tickets for select seats at all performances, available to anyone with need—simply select the advance ticket price that works best for you. $5 tickets for TeenTix members and Seattle Central College faculty, staff and students. Twenty Free for Everyone walk-up tickets are available (first come, first served) on the day of the performance beginning 60 minutes before show time—the line usually starts well before the box office opens.
