Northwest Washington Fair, held in mid-August attracts over 150,000 people to Lynden. The town of Lynden is near the Canadian border, about 100 miles north of Seattle. A trip from Seattle makes a good overnight trip. Canada is represented in vendors and flag presentations throughout the fair. Plenty of camping is available nearby. Popular comedy and musical acts take the stage every day. Dozens of free concerts take place throughout the event.
