Our society is increasingly polarized, making it difficult to even agree on basic facts. This means that talking about misinformation can be difficult, whether the conversation is online or around your dining room table. Join the Center for an Informed Public to talk about common techniques for having difficult conversations on controversial topics. This workshop will provide participants with an overview of different approaches for effectively engaging others about misinformation and sensitive topics regularly affected by misinformation. This event will be recorded for later viewing on the Sno-Isle Libraries YouTube channel, and will be available for five years.
