Wings Over Water Northwest Birding Festival celebrates migratory birds that flock over the northwest corner of Washington State to the pristine coastal waters of Drayton Harbor, Birch Bay, and Semiahmoo Bay, near the town of Blaine. This major stopover on the Pacific Flyway between Seattle and Vancouver, BC is designated as an Important Birding Area and the anchor for the North Cascades Loop of the Great Washington State Birding Trail. Free admission. Free activities include the all-day birding expo, wildlife speakers, live raptor presentations, kids’ activities, wildlife exhibits and displays.
