Black Angus Steak House (Federal Way, Puyallup) features aged steaks and a whole lot more from starters to desserts. Open Christmas Eve but not Christmas Day.
BluWater Bistro (Seattle/Leschi) offers a take-home feast for 6 including roast turkey or prime rib, sides, and pie for $195 or $280. Order by December 22 for pickup Christmas Eve or Day. They offer a 3-course prixe fixe for $59/person on Christmas Eve/Day.
Cutters Crabhouse (Seattle/Pike Place Market). Stunning views and a Northwest inspired seafood menu open for lunch and dinner. Christmas dine-in prix fixe $65/person. Holiday to-go pack serves 3-4 $110.
Daniel’s Broiler Steak & Seafood (Swartz Bros) (Bellevue, Seattle/Lake Union, Seattle/Leschi, Seattle/Downtown–Hyatt Hotel) offers dine-in service and a takeout menu of traditional steakhouse favorites. Closed Christmas Day. Open Christmas Eve. Reservations strongly suggested.
Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ/Bellevue dining style is shared plates. Save money by choosing a “course” menu of pre-selected starters and meats beginning at $80/2-persons. Special holiday menus being at $95/2-persons. Open holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years).
Jetty Bar & Grille (Everett) in the Hotel Indigo at Port Gardner is accepting reservations for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Jimmy’s on Broadway (Seattle/Capitol Hill) offers modern American cuisine in an energetic atmosphere. Accepting reservations for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Lost Lake Cafe & Lounge (Seattle) is open holidays with a limited regular menu and special event menu.
McMenamins Pubs (Bothell, Mill Creek, Seattle, Tacoma). Different locations have different hours and offerings.
Mecca Café (Seattle/lower Queen Anne) offers a casual menu. Full bar. Service is first-come, first served (no reservations). The Mecca is open 6am-2am every day including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve with full menu plus a modestly priced holiday menu.
Roti Restaurant (Seattle) on lower Queen Anne offers a menu of authentic Indian dishes including tandoori, curries, and vegetarian options. In the past, they have opened Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for lunch and dinner.
Solarium Kitchen & Bar (Bellevue) at the Hilton offers a casual northwest menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Closed Christmas Day.
Texas de Brazil (Tacoma) blends traditions of Brazilian cuisine with generous Texas hospitality, including an extravagant salad area followed by an endless parade of gauchos who visit your table with skewers of freshly grilled meats carved tableside. Christmas dinner at chain restaurants
Especially for lower cost, as well as last minute availability, chain restaurants can be a good option on holidays. Expect all locations to be extremely busy, sometimes with long wait times. Reservations are recommended if available. But most casual eateries are first come, first served. Many also offer takeout. Some restaurants offer a special Christmas dinner menu, some offer their regular menu, and some have both options. Different restaurant locations in the same chain may vary. Be sure to call ahead to confirm menus and hours.
A quick check of the restaurant website indicates the following chain restaurants will be open on Christmas Day. However, hours, menu selections, and reservation requirements can vary by location since many chain restaurants are franchises that are locally owned and managed. It is recommended that you call ahead to a specific location to confirm details.
