At all surplus stores, the inventory is constantly changing. So you usually want to visit regularly, whether you are looking for something in particular, or hoping for an unusual find.
Discount office supplies, furniture, and general surplus stores
Boeing Surplus Sales Online Auctions offers a wide range of goods from office supplies and furniture to fitness equipment, cameras, computers, airplanes and airplane parts…and a whole lot more. Habitat Stores (Auburn, Bellevue, Ellensburg, Tukwila/Southcenter). Habitat Stores offer great deals on furniture, building supplies, appliances, and home decor. All items at the stores are donated by individuals or businesses, some are brand new. Money raised from the stores supports affordable housing in the Seattle area through Habitat for Humanity.

Architectural salvage, building and construction materials
Ballard Reuse, 1440 NW 52nd St, Seattle, WA 98107. Used and salvaged building materials super store dedicated to keeping as much materials as possible out of the landfill, while sharing creative reuse ideas and having fun. You’ll find a full range of used building materials as well as odd finds and some just plain cool stuff.
Earthwise Architectural Salvage (Aberdeen, Seattle, Tacoma). Retail warehouses are full of vintage and new doors, windows, lighting, hardware and lumber. They also offer a diverse assortment of architectural antiques including stained glass, wrought iron, pillars, posts, and columns.
Equipment Sales and Surplus, 1801 West Valley Hwy N, Auburn, WA 98001. sells primarily woodworking and metalworking tools, including Overstocks, Freight Returns, Scratch and Dent, Tradeshow returns, Warranty Returns, and Discontinued Models. All items are in excellent working condition, the majority have never been used, and all carry a 90-day warranty.
Second Use (Seattle, Tacoma) envisions salvage and reuse of building materials as an increasingly user-friendly process and a standard component of a construction job and aims to provide an enjoyable shopping experience for contractors, homeowners, customers and community in the Puget Sound region. Two locations: Seattle and Tacoma.
Recycling Service
3R Technology (Federal Way, Kenmore, Kent) is a certified recycling facility, providing environmentally sound recycling of computer equipment throughout the Pacific Northwest. They provide FREE e-waste collection events for companies and FREE drop-off locations for residents. They accept most electronics at no charge, including TVs, computer monitors, printers, keyboards, mice, and much more. They also refurbish some equipment to sell in their store and have other services such as data destruction.
UpTeKK Recycling, 101 Lund Road, Auburn, Wa 98001. Recycling business with several services. They have free drop-off and pickup of acceptable items for residents and businesses, including appliances, electronics, and other items. (A few items require a fee.) They also offer free recycling event service that any organization or business can sponsor for clients as a free event or fundraisers. For these events UpTeKK can supply expertise, including signs, fliers, and labor to offload recycled items.
